What does it take to run a high stakes political campaign?
Eric Nagy will give us a behind-the-scenes look at the process from nuts to bolts and where advertising fits in on a modern campaign. Last year, Eric was the campaign manager for the Democratic nominee in Pennsylvania’s 1st Congressional District – a very “purple” swing district in Bucks & Montgomery counties – running the fifth most expensive race in American history with a combined spend of nearly $31 million.
Join us to discuss how TV, digital advertising, snail mail, earned media, and old-fashioned retail politics come together to form a cohesive marketing and direct contact strategy to remain competitive in a major national race decided by 2.6% of the vote – as well as how to scale back those efforts in smaller, local races.
